[Suggestion] Social Groups Message Alert

Social Groups seem dead. I think a message alert will help increase activity. Maybe make this messages count as posts.

A few of them are still really alive. Although this is a great idea. I wouldn't have to go to the group page to see if someone has posted anything. If there was an added notification that alerted to new posts, it would help.

By few I think you mean like 1 really my OGK has seen nearly 10x as much traffic since I started it

If you look at all the social groups there are a few that have had recent posts in the past week. Such as the Staff of CD group.

There is such a mod for vB to notify but it requires a forum & posting. Would be a great idea.

I was actually planning on just disabling Social Groups. They use a lot of CPU and no one seems to use them that much. They are just like an advanced form of the PM system.
