How to hide your *Secret Stash*

Well many people have there *Secret Stash* of stuff they don't want their family to find or friend or anyone so im gonna teach you how to hide it.

Well most people will look in common places for your hidden stuff like say your desktop. Obviously theres lots of people who walk by and see your desktop. So you wouldn't ever want to put it there.

Now maybe your thinking My Documents. Thats actually an OK Place because you have to actually do something to see it. I wouldn't just put a folder in My Documents called Secret Stash or something. I would do this. Make a folder called Work or School stuff. Put a couple documents like English Report.txt and Cooking Class.txt then put a folder called Science. You can put your secret stash in there called Science Reports or something else. Well obviously the person who is looking at this probably thinks oh its just his school work and would move on.

Now if this won't work for you because you know they are really looking for something try this. Make a folder in C:\Windows\ and call it what ever. Just make it look real call it Pass or something like that. Then inside that folder you want to sell it so put a couple .ini or some config files that you just made up and named it that. Now inside that put .ini files as a folder and put your super secret stash inside that.

Now if someone is trying to search using the search function through your computer do this. Hide the folder like in C:\Windows again but right click it and click Properties. Now click the security tab. Click all the users on your computer and Make sure Deny is checked for ALL users. That way you can't access it meaning if someone searches on your account it wont come up because you can't access it to search it. Now when you want to view it just right click and go back to security and make it so any user group your in can view it. Then when your done just lock it up again. and there you go

    Edit:

I've now found an even better way to do this now.

    1. Make a new folder on your desktop name it this (HOLD Alt Then on the Num Pad type 0160) Then press enter to name it.

    2. Now right click on the folder that has no name and click properties

    3. now click customize then click customize again and now go to change icon.

    4. Choose the icon that is just blank.

    5. Click ok and now you have an invisable folder that you didn't even have to hide.

To get to it just highlight around where you left it.( Put it on your desktop). Put the mouse in top left corner. Left Click & hold. Drag to bottom right. Look for a blue square anywhere on your screen. Thats the invisible name highlighted on the folder. now just click right above it.

If its not on your desktop it takes up space & you see an empty square in the folder your viewing.

Every man for himself. You trust no one but yourself, if you want something done you do it your self don't rely on others. You watch your own back, you fight your own fights its you against the world.
