Fallout New Vegas

Fallout: New Vegas is an upcoming game announced by Bethesda Softworks on April 20, 2009 at its London showcase. While New Vegas is not a direct sequel, it will use the same engine and be in the same style as Fallout 3 and will be developed by Obsidian Entertainment, a company founded by developers who left Black Isle Studios. Based on the title, it will be set in Las Vegas. It has a projected release date of 2010 and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world following The Great War between the US and China, a conventional and nuclear war that occurred on October 23, 2077 and lasted less than two hours despite causing immense damage and destruction. Before The Great War were the Resource Wars, during which the United Nations disbanded, a plague rendered the United States paranoid, and Canada was annexed.
The game will probably take place in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, which was previously only mentioned in the first Fallout. The story will not be related in any way to the one in Fallout 3.

How were the previous, never played one.

The first game is old, real old, its nothing like 3. Top down view with a mild storyline that would piss even the most mild person off.

The 2nd game is about the 1st game characters son. It is still a top down view with tons of people to recruit.

Fallout Tactics is a different take on the series focusing on squad based combat.
