There is NO and I mean NO meaning of the word hacking in the "hacking" community. If you go into a hacking forum and say that you want to learn to hack, they'll tell you the same thing. Most people assume that hacking is to get into people's computer and mess with them, but any real hacker knows that there are countless methods of hacking. From viruses, to overclocking (Yes, altering hardware in some way is hacking), to cracking, to altering a game is hacking. Even changing text around is hacking! I admit, yes, I can hack into other's computers, but I know the reality to it. There was some idiot that said he can hack into my computer through my IP address. First off, to hack a computer, you must know how a computer works. Second, an IP address is just like a social security number for your computer. You need more of a passage way into a computer, some sort of connection, example being a virus. People think a virus is something that messes up your computer when in reality its just a passage into someone's computer. For example, a Keylogger. Keyloggers allow a person to see what you are typing. Its like a spy. Most thieves (Not hackers) use these to take people's SSN, passwords to Paypal, and credit cards.
Just letting the peoples of CD know the difference. :D
