Re: Will the PS3 ever be hacked like the PSP?
All systems get hacked eventually. Some are hard, risky, and to put it simply not worth it (like the 360). On the other hand, the PSP, and DS are extremely easy to hack and the homebrew/"backups" opportunities are limitless.
1) PS3 scans HD if it has been used by any other devices. If it has, it will format itself
2) Blu-ray can't be hacked. Thus, exploits are harder to find
3) The 7th Cell- Checks everything, if one of the security of the ps3 has been breached, it will shut down the system. (no one knows how to shut down the 7th cell)
4) Sony constantly updating
1) Never heard this. Dont' think it's true. Prove me wrong.
2) How the fuck are you supposed to hack a DVD? Lmao...I could say the same thing about DVD's. DVD's HAVE NOT BEEN HACKED. If you're saying people can't rip blueray..then you are completely mistaken.
3) That's true, but its not like security blocks have ever stopped hackers before.
4) They update the firmware. If you hack the DVD drive, there's no way to detect it. Just like the 360.
