It froze because of the hook: the last line of the Taunter code.
You should try to replace the 0x00000098 by another hook which works on GEN.

I looked for a "GEN hook" on this website, I found this one 0x000000CC, so try the following code, I'm pretty sure it will work:

By the way, I don't recommend you to use the CFW GEN, it's really shitty, it has many glitches and it's unstable, whereas the CFW ME is VERY STABLE, you should install the CFW (6.39 ME-9.1) ;)
