I didn't buy the warranty what I had was proof of warranty. I didn't open the Xbox just look at the time difference between my two posts two minutes. I wouldn't have time to fix it in two minutes.

Pop your faceplate off and look for a silver sticker. If it's still there, you're good to go..don't remove it though.
