5.50 GEN-D2 Custom Firmware

For some reason, after i installed 5.50 Gen-C i bricked my psp, then unbricked it and installed the 5.50 Gen-D and D2, so i don't know what went wrong, but, it worked so thanks.

i downloaded and installed 5.50 GEN-D2 just yesterday.
i haven't noticed any difference so far (previously, i had 5.50 GEN-D)
I have recently had my psp cracked, just a week ago; before that, i had updated it to official firmware 6.20 and before that i had 3.80 M33

5.50 GEN-D2 was just an update for the 5.50 GEN-D.. Fixed a couple of bugs, stuff like that..

i just installed gen d-2 as per tuts above...installed b, then c, then d, then d-2 on my slim 2000 and all is well so far...thanx johnny

Btw gen d3 is out

i upgraded directly from 5.00m33-6 to 5.50gen-d3

1. Use hellcats recovery flasher to backup your fw incase of brick

2. Format flash 0 and reset settings from the recovery menu

3. Run the 5.50gen-d3 installer

worked for me 1st try.. No brick

Hey is 5.00 m33-6 better than gen or is gen better cuz I can't play my fifa 10 game cuz my cfw, what should I do or is m33 coming out with an update soon.

P.S. I dont know how to decrypt my games. Please help!:sad:

Get GEN... it is a lot better than M33

as far as i know GEN is the new M33 so their wont be an update to M33
