yes im a noob as well ( got it a few days ago ) but i think the problem is you using them on the wrong time (like loading) or the codes are wrong.

i don't know for sure but this is my thought of freezing

well sometimes it freezez cuz u use them in the wrong time like u may try using a online code in an offline place wich causes it to freeze
