Rap Beat

I'm using Fruity Loops alot more because I want to get use to it so I can make some raps better with a beat. Anyway this is my first go at a beat. It's 25 bars. I could make it sound better by just removing the toned kick, but it feels empty without it. I'm going to find some replacement sounds.

Yeah dude you're better than me, I truly suck with that program,. I try so hard to get a beat going and it just always ends up failing. I'll figure it out someday haha

Make use of the 2/4/8 marks. They really help with laying the beat out over the bars. I use 4 for the bass 2 for cymbals (I keep the volume low on cymbals) and 4 for claps or snaps. Sometimes I will switch out the 4 for a 4 and a double at the end.
