for the ones not familiar with the towel trick this is how you do it and this is what you need.(this is to fix the red ring of death(rrod))
- a 360 with the red ring of death(rrod)
- a towel large enough to cover it
- and patience
- do this in your own risk.not my fault if you fuck up.but what you got to lose either way.
this is temporary...i have actually seen this happen.my friend has done it three times (he has the old 360)and it has worked every time...i dont know how long it last.
- first take out any disk thats inside,your harddrive,and the hdmi cable
- next you wrap your 360 in a towel or towels...make sure you cover all the air vents.
- next turn on your fucked up 360
- after that just leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes(20 is best)
- make sure its heating up
- unwrap it and let it cool down(no need for fans),just leave it alone for about 20 minutes.
- remember patience
- now try it out.put your harddrive in,hdmi cable,a game(if you want) and turn it on.
- if you get the green lights and are able to reach the menu then celebrate
- have fun and play your ass off again!
