like i said...you got nothing to loose if you get the ring of death...and secondly i said it was temporary...not that it fixed it...i have a friend who has done this 3 times..but he has the old xbox 360...one of the first ones

There is something to loose. Your 360. It comes with a free warenty, and They just send you a new console...so really this is only helpful to people who's warantee has expired.
