Turn the computer on and keep tapping F8 until you get to the "Boot Menu" go to "Safe Mode" then log in as administrator. Go to Start > Run > CMD

Type the following

Net user [yourusernamehere] *

then type a password ( it won't show anything when your typing the password just don't mess up. Then press enter and enter the same password. It will say "You have successfully changed your password" or something like that.

Ok, What zeus recomended is fine, if you have the proper permissions to run command prompt. That command also resets the password, doesn't crack it.


Google something called "OphCrack". Its a LiveCD that you boot up on the computer, and it will crack Windows XP, And vista passwords in a couple of minutes. (Lmao, we used it at school and got some admin PW's)

than type net user [username] [new password]
u must be on an administrator account
-if u dont have an administrator account get a windows cd and repair it and all passwords will be removed
-and on some windows u can go on safemod ... keep pressing F8 when u turn on computer and passwords will be reseted

Ahh yeah. If you want to steal a password you need to look into "Keylogging".
