Definitely false.
The ones that say instant work once you turn the code on. The one that isnt, works next round or the next game...i cant rember, its been so long.
Glad i know now....i cant rember who told me but they said its a good place to test out codes without getting banned cus there arent any detectors.

Even if it didn't have detectors it would be a sucky place to test codes because then you wouldn't know if they really banned or not.
But you can still test if they work, even though AD-HOC mode is better
