I just use the CSO.
And did you make sure you wrote the code down in the game notepad?
like this.......

ms0:/seplugins/bakon.prx 1
The 1 means it enabled.
Just keep trying. If it doesn't work just go download the CSO.
And take your Socom FTB2 to gamestop for some $.
