this has happened to me before when socom is loading up u high lite it so u can turn it on with the music button then when u get online in socom u type clan name do not insert the tag yet after u make the clan name go down to make clan then go to the clan roster and edit the tag rite now the tag should be blank but go to edit tag and when the keboard pops up press the music button then your clan tag should appear then get out of the clan tag editor keyboard and look at your friends list and press the music button to turn it off, hopefully this helps
