    Disabling the Slant Six Intro

    IDK about you guys, but the intro Slant Six does is too long and annoying. So why not disable it? Well I wish it was as simple as using a code, but for some reason when I disable the function, the game will not continue. It doesn't freeze or anything, I guess it just fails to realize the function never started. Anyway if you guys want to take a whack at the code here it is. This code will disable the function which loads the Slant Six intro. Now chances are I probably needed to follow the jump to register with a no operation. Only it's been awhile since I've worked in PS2DIS, so if you guys want to take a whack at it let me know. Please do give me proper credit though.

    Code:
    #Disable Slant Six Intro
    ;JohnnyMcKinney
    ;ConsoleDiscussions.com
    ;Function is disabled
    ;Game will not load
    0x000D4640 0x03E00008
    With that said, lets show you a more permanent way to remove it. In the attachments below you will find in the Slant Six Intro archive a file called ssix.pmf. For those of you who have a backup of Socom FTB3, simply load that backup in UMDGEN. From there navigate to here:
    PSP_GAME -> USRDIR -> video

    Now simply replace the ssix.pmf from the Slant Six Intro archive.

    From there save the backup as ISO or CSO and then replace the backup on your memory stick with the one you just made.

    Now no more annoying intro.
