What would you do if nuclear bombs went off in the Major Cities of the U.S

Yeah I know. The point is the whole country would be in distress. Any city more than 100 miles away from the blast would all be alike. They would survive and they would all be disconnected from the rest of the world. I'm asking mainly what you would do to survive.

Cause it would suck without internet, electricity, running water, low food.
