how hard would it be to implement dragging the image out? Or maybe put a dialog box up to allow the user to choose where to save the file and what it should be named.

if you have to click and drag the image, then why not just click the button? As for being tough it wouldnt be that hard, but I wasn't going into detail on something that didnt need to be that intricate

because not everybody wants to have the image save to the desktop. With click and drag you give the user freedom to save the image easily to whatever folder they want.

It doesnt goto the desktop, it's in the root of the application, so if you put the app in a folder, that's where they go. Truthfully that's the best option rather then having to set up application settings to memorize where things need to go
