It doesnt detect where they are. It detects radar signals coming in when a cop has their speed radar on and then it makes a noise so you know there is a cop who's scanning and you can slow down. Then he hooked up the LED from the radar detector to make the car decelerate when the radar goes off because he might not be quick enough. If you have enough of them in the car you could get a fairly good idea where they are. You'll have to computer model it though
Who spends the time doing that though. One's enough. You just need to know there's one nearby and your already gonna be hittin that break.
