I don't know what MS_ROOT is. I clicked on the link to read about it, but it is broken. I do however see a file called MP_ROOT on my psp, is that it?

n00b info:

MS_ROOT is the root of your memory sick (ex: X:\ is the root of this memory stick)

MP_ROOT is completely different and is where you put videos and THM files on earlier psp firmwares
