If you don't want to, don't do the 20 pound curls by all means. Do what makes you comfortable. But I recommend the Diamond and Wide push ups along with daily normal push ups to keep your upper body in top condition. BTW First days of diamond push ups are a bitch your triceps will hurt like hell and cramp up even if you stretch once you try to do other push ups so do them last. If you put pressure with your arms extended it will cramp up on the first couple days. It sucks. I just started doing them I only did 5 today.
